... just a little experiment.

I am having such a hard time trying to decide what process/style to follow... I know what styles I like, and how I want things to look, but the gap between how I see things in my mind and how they turn out is rather large...

Sometimes... oftentimes... I do things the hard way.
I'm trying to work on not doing things the hard way.
Take this pattern, for instance.
How hard could it be to make a repeating pattern out of stripes?! (albeit, wonky stripes).
Well, let me tell you.
Actually, I think I will spare you the grisly details of how I could not get this to work the first night I worked on it...
... and skip to the happy ending, in which I walked away from the computer to do something else, and BAM! The solution came to me.

This is not the first time that I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to force something to work the "hard way"...
... and then finally walked away, only to have the solution present itself to me shortly thereafter.

Note to self: Next time, step awaaayyy from the problem (and the computer)!
